Quest
Uniting high-performing mid-career professionals to provide them with the necessary skills to grow and lead throughout our community.
What is Quest?
LGH Quest, Connecticut’s premier community leadership development program, stands out with its unique 10-month duration and focus on serving high-performing, mid-career professionals across various sectors. It is designed to foster both personal and professional growth, offering dynamic training, immersive community engagement activities, and opportunities for meaningful connections.
Community connection
At the heart of LGH Quest is our successful community engagement component. Since 1986, participants have been connecting with the community to identify needs and form diverse task forces to address these needs. These task forces have developed projects related to children and youth, community and economic development, arts and culture, support for the homeless, and more. This experience not only fosters self-discovery and growth but also equips participants with vital relational and leadership skills that they can apply to the communities where they live and work.

What can Quest attendees expect?
Quest offers a unique, experiential approach to leadership training. Participants engage in workshops, field experiences, and individual coaching focused on advanced leadership practices. A key element is the community impact project — a leadership learning laboratory — that provides vital experience and exposure to the region’s assets and challenges.
Joining Leadership Greater Hartford’s Quest program was the best thing I could have done. It’s a fun Leadership program that has great speakers, facilitators and delicious food. The Quest program has helped me tremendously since I just recently started a new Leadership position at Connecticut Children’s. The Quest program provided me with leadership and facilitation skills through a series of dynamic and knowledgeable Quest speakers. Also, Quest afforded me the opportunity to get to know new places and programs in Hartford.
