On Tuesday, January 24th LGH unveiled a new business plan to expand our LGH Consulting & Training services as participants in the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving’s Social Enterprise Accelerator program. Our new, transformational leadership development framework will help businesses and agencies develop leaders for the modern workplace by building welcoming and inclusive teams.
To launch this initiative, we are raising funds from mission impact investors – both individuals and businesses – who believe in the mission of LGH, and understand that this new business requires additional investments of time, effort, and money. The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has generously announced a dollar-for-dollar match for the first $30,000 we raise toward this initiative. This new service line will provide vital earned income in future years so that LGH can bring our mission and community leadership programs to more people in our region for years to come. Our programs empower individuals of all ages and backgrounds to use their leadership capabilities and influence to create inclusive, just, and caring communities. The projected earned income from our expanded LGH Consulting & Training services will ensure that LGH programs are accessible to everyone, especially those who cannot afford the traditional program participation costs.
