The 2018 Quest class is full. We will continue to accept applications for the waitlist. Those on the waitlist will be notified either way by the second week of January.

Each year leaders from all sectors and backgrounds in the Greater Hartford community are selected for the Quest program. Participants will build leadership skills, knowledge and network for effective leadership within their organizations and communities.

  • Periodic reporting on demographics, along with other information, is provided to our funders to evaluate the impact of our programs in the communities we serve. Please kindly provide the following information:

  • A sponsor supervisor is an individual who supports the applicant’s participation in all program-related sessions including but not limited to workshops, tours, and taskforce involvement.
  • A sponsoring organization is expected to foster the applicant’s professional development by paying the sponsor tuition and supporting the time needed to fully participate in program activities and workshops. Sponsoring Organization’s
  • Retreat: Participation in the overnight opening and closing retreats is mandatory. Individuals considering participation in the Quest program who are unable to attend the retreat MUST speak to the Program Director prior to applying. Attendance: Monthly program sessions are held the 3rd Thursday of each month from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., unless otherwise specified. In addition, participants are expected to work on a task force to plan and implement a project designed to build a stronger, more unified community. We estimate task force activities may require approximately six additional hours each month beyond the scheduled monthly sessions. Participants are expected to attend a minimum of 85% of the program sessions and 85% of the task force meetings. I have read and understand the responsibilities as described above:

    Nonprofit/Government Entities
    Budget less than $1 Million - $1,150
    Budget between $1 - $5 Million - $1,850
    Budget between $5 - $20 Million - $2,500
    Budget more than $20 Million - $3,100

    For-Profit Companies
    Less than 50 employees - $3,100
    50-250 employees - $4,400
    More than 250 employees - $5,700

    In addition to sponsor-paid tuition, each participant will be responsible for a personal tuition of $350.

    Payment Plan Information
    Flexible payment plans are negotiable upon request and should be agreed upon by December 1, 2017.

    Scholarship Information
    Every participant and organization will be asked to contribute a portion of the tuition. Scholarships are considered based on need and must be requested in writing by October 31, 2017.

    Full Tuition Payment is required by January 1st, 2018 unless prearranged with the Program Director. Any participant requiring a flexible payment plan should contact the Program Director no later than December 1, 2017. Any Late payments will be subject to a monthly 1% late fee.

    Cancellation Policy
    Tuition will be refunded at 100% if participant withdraws within 30 days of acceptance into the program. After 30 days, LGH will retain a $250 processing fee. Refunds will not be considered after orientation.
