1. Leadership brought Chris to Hartford
Chris relocated to Hartford in 2008 through GE’s leadership program. In total, he spent 7 years with GE, living in Louisville, Cleveland, and Shanghai, China through his leadership rotation.
2. Certified in Leadership
In 2015, Chris wanted to deepen his leadership expertise. He enrolled in an intensive executive masters program at Columbia University where he received his M.A. in organizational psychology. Additionally, he holds numerous certifications in leadership assessment including: Hogan personality assessment, MBTI, FIRO-B, and Kolb Learning Style Inventory.
3. He found Leadership Greater Hartford through Quest
In 2011, Chris graduated from the LGH signature program Quest. He went through this program representing Travelers. Chris spent almost a decade with Travelers in various positions prior to starting his own Consulting and Training Company Amplify Leadership. In 2019 through Amplify, Chris returned to the Quest program as a Leadership Coach and workshop facilitator.
4. Service in Leadership
Prior to joining the Windsor, CT Volunteer fire department in 2010, Chris was a firefighter in New Jersey and Kentucky. He became an EMT for Windsor in 2013.
5. Commitment to the next Generation
Chris educates the next generation of leaders as an adjunct leadership and psychology professor at Eastern Connecticut State University and Goodwin University. In 2019, he worked with the Obama Foundation’s Community Leadership Corps.
