The Hartford Police Department and Leadership Greater Hartford matriculate fourth class from Community Leadership Policing Institute
Leadership Greater Hartford and the Hartford Police Department collaborated for an eight week, leadership program, Community Policing Leadership Institute (CPLI). This program, designed to create dialog and deepen partnerships between Hartford Police Department and the communities they serve, provides Hartford Police Officers with enriched leadership skills and community connections.
Through the Leadership Greater Hartford’s Consulting and Training arm, fourteen Hartford Police officers and detectives participated in professional development modules, individual coaching sessions, and guided Hartford neighborhood tours.
As part of this program, each CPLI Officer developed a proposal that focuses on improving processes within the Hartford Police Department and enhances relationships between law enforcement and the community.
On Tuesday, February 11, the CPLI Officers presented their individual project proposals to the Hartford Police Chief at the program’s commencement.
